We provide a wide range of services and procedures to better assist you.
However, on your initial visit, our staff will review your medical history
in order to better evaluate your pain problem. This will also include a
diagnostic evaluation which can include labratory, neurological, and radiology testing.
Some of the services and procedures Haydel Spine and Pain Specialty Care Center offers include:

Caudal Epidural Steroid Injection
Epidural steroid injections are minimally invasive procedures done in pain management in an attempt
to introduce into the epidural space antiinflammatory medications that are highly potent and close
to the site of the inflammatory process and the source of the patient's pain generation.

Facet joint injections or blocks are procedures done in an attempt to diagnose and/or treat areas of pain
generation within the axial spine where facet joints are inflamed and generating pain.
Intercostal nerve blocks are useful in the treatment of pain ot originating and traveling
along the intercostal nerve, or surrounding structures, and include rib fracture costochondritis,
chondrosternal joint inflammation either from trauma or arthritis, and pain radiating from
thoracic axial spine pathology with irritation of the adjacent intercostals nerve.
Balloon kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive treatment that can repair vertebral compression fractures caused
by osteoporosis, cancer, or benign lesions.
A discogram is a diagnostic procedure done to determine if the disk
degeneration or herniation seen on a ct or mri is significant enough to require surgery.

Occipital nerve blocks are done to treat occipital neuralgia. Occipital neuralgia is
headache-mediated through the posterior cranial mass, running on the posterior aspect
of the head, into the scalp region, and producing constant head pain and
headaches, due to pathology often presented to the pathological spine region.
Stellate ganglion block is a procedure that attempts to block the sympathetic activity in the
upper extremity and achieve pain relief.
Trigger point injections are used to treat myofascial pain syndromes. They are also used to
treat areas of inflammatory process where tendons and muscles may attach to bones as well as
lateral epicondylitis, lateral collateral ligament of the knee, or medical collateral ligament
of the knee that is inflamed.
